XIAMEN XIANGYU QUAY CO, LTD.

The Xiangyu Container Terminal is operated by Xiangyu Quay Co. Ltd., a joint venture company.

The terminal possesses a total quay length of 976m, covering an area of 488,000m2, including 220,000 m2 of storage yards and over 10,000 m2 of warehouses. Facilities serving the terminal also include 13 units of 35-40T gantry cranes, and 6 units of 40-45T RTGs. In addition, advanced terminal management system is applied to provide all-weather handling services 24 hours a day. At present, channel dredging, expansion of reefer yards and construction of a new yard covering 130,000m2 are well underway, in order to facilitate enhancement of the operational capacity of the terminal in the future. Currently Xiangyu Terminal serves liner ships of over 10 shipping companies including large long-haul liners with deadweight of 6.5T and ship length of 294m, linking Xiamen with ports of Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, west coast of the USA and the Mediterranean in the Europe.
